Marina Sena

Coisas Naturais Tour premiered one year ago and is a project in which I work across direction, movement direction, and body-camera research. In addition to operating the camera live throughout the tour, I have developed an ongoing collaborative process with Marina Sena that explores the relationship between movement and camera, integrating cinematic language into the show's scenic construction. Through the live camera work, the camera follows and highlights the narrative arc of the character developed by Marina throughout the performance. Movement, framing, and performance are conceived as interconnected elements, allowing the narrative to unfold not only on stage but also through the camera’s gaze. This continuous dialogue between body and image creates an experience that moves between live performance and cinema, bringing together stage and audiovisual languages within a single composition. Now entering its second year of touring, Coisas Naturais Tour continues in an updated version and is set to perform this September on the Sunset Stage at the Rock in Rio.
